Premium Plus Label Lynx Pelt - Alaska/Yukon (with Paws)

I ordered a 40"-44" pelt with paws and they gave me a taxidermy quality hide, with claws still attached that's a fairly meticulous process to do so). I personally trap animals and am learning to self-tan hides and the workmanship on this hide was excellent, I took notes on the things they did really well and will incorporate it into my own craft.
The fur is gorgeous. If anyone intends to wear these pelts as stoles or make them into garments, they are so soft and warm.
I've seen comparable hides go for $150-$200 more, this is a bargain. I'm glad to purchase from them to help keep one of the oldest American occupations (trapping and fur processing) alive. They'll send you an awesome fur for the money.

I’m honestly blown away by the quality for the price point. The pelt I received had basically zero defects the only defect I could find was a hole about the size of half a dime besides that the pelt was literally perfect. I made a mountain man trappers hat out of the pelt and I get compliments every time I put it on in how beautiful the pelt is.

I am positively blown away by the specimen I received. I ordered a 40-44 inch long pelt suitable for taxidermy and requested a pelt with white toes. Despite fully expecting to not receive a cat with white toes, I got a cat with white toes. In addition, the pelt I got is in amazing shape. Sure there's a little knicks here and there but that's to be expected. I was expecting a lot worse due to the review I read from Fair Buy. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another specimen if I had to in the future. This is an *amazing* large male cat.

Got a pelt suitable for taxidermy, great shipping and gorgeous fur. However not fully suitable for lifesize. One ear was ripped, earbutts missing completely, couldn't tell until skin was rehydrated, lips were not split and one eye was badly stretched. In the end was able to make it work but future buyers be aware some skins may have similar flaws/challenges. Overall good skin for hobbyist but not for commercial/competition taxidermy.
