Great for warmth
My husband loves them. He works outside all year round and swears these keep his hands nice and toasty.

Worked well for skiing

Decided to try these for my kids. My son said he thinks they worked better than the Disposable hot packs. He had on a mediocre quality pair of North Face mittens with these inside. It was about 15° windy and no sun in vermont. And he said his fingers were fine. His thumbs got a little bit cold, but they're not covered in the fur. I'm going to order two more sets. If nothing else you can use them in conjunction with the hot packs and you should be good even in single digit temperatures if you have decent mittens
