Not what I expected

I ordered this sheepskin back when the details listed it as “1/2 inch thick wool” in order to make a pair of mittens. Upon receiving it, I was initially quite disappointed as the thickest part of the wool was barely over 1/4” - not thick enough for my mittens. I emailed GlacierWear’s customer service and they were very helpful, offering to return and refund my order AND they updated the description to no longer say “1/2 inch thick wool”.
I ended up keeping the skin because the quality is quite nice. The wool side is good, but the chrome tanned flesh side is REALLY nice. Minimal imperfections, beautiful and even color.
I’ve used it so far for boot and shoe liners.
I’ll probably order some more - great value for the price and I was very pleased with GlacierWear’s customer service.
