Amazing tail! It didn't have a lot of melanin in it though, making it look a bit more like a regular red fox. Not super fluffy, but it gives it kind of a wild look, which is nice. Very pretty.
If I had known I could request things on my order, I would have, but it was the last tail anyway.
Could have been packaged with a bit more care, since I accidentally cut the tip with scissors. But I won't use them next time.
To wear it, you have to have belt loops. The clasp can bend, but it really isn't meant for that. The ribbon clamp has an insane hold on the leather. My 230 pound dog accidentally stepped/pulled on my glacier fox tail ,and it survived. The jump rings do allow you to add a different clasp. I did that, and it works very well, and it's easy to do.
The leather inside of the tail is darker than usual, and a little greasy.
Love the tail, I wear it all the time. Forever a customer.

I bought this tail because I'm a therian who was looking for a site that is relatively ethical to animals, got told this was a good one. This taxidermy is high quality, and although I haven't had it long, seems durable. Long and fluffy. Good price for good quality!
Only thing that might be a drawback for other people is that the tail is mostly melanistic. It has white at the end, primarily black with tan. Very little to no orange. Basically, it doesn't look quite like the photos, which is fine for me because more melanistic coloring is what I wanted. However maybe to you reading this that's not what you want, so keep that in mind if you want to purchase this.
Otherwise, 10/10 taxidermy, couldn't recommend more! ❤️
