I did a water test and it was more waterproof than I thought. The fur side is very comfortable. The beaver fur pelt can resist damage better than rabbit fur pelt. They also included leather underneath the fur. Thanks!

XXXL-Smaller Than Expected And Some Holes.

It’s a decent pelt but my example could have been better. It’s hard to figure out the size as you have to multiply the width by the length which is confusing.
Mine had small holes, (yes I realize about the eye holes and such are natural), but mine had several small holes and one very large one that was discouraging. I sewed them up as best I could but being that these hide’s could possibly have holes should have been listed in the description especially at $150.00.

I ordered the XXL size pelt and before it arrived, I didn't understand why large beaver pelts were called "blankets" and I do now! This pelt is completely undamaged, even the leather side has no flaws or little holes in it, the leg holes are cleanly cut. Very thick, soft underfur and unbroken guard hairs. The one I received was a bit lighter colored than in the photos, but I wasn't expecting a very dark one anyway. Beaver worthy of royalty
