These are a nice cost-effective alternative to a solid sterling cap. They're easy to use and look nice when they're done. They might not work so well on smaller black bear claws. The smallest one I did had about 2": of claw showing measuring along the outside of the curve and was about 3/4" wide... Smaller claws might not be wide enough to fill the cap.
Tip to vendor: show some completed claws. I was apprehensive looking at them on line with their rather squarish appearance, but I'm real happy with how they came out and am ordering some more.
